As a little girl, I rode my bike a lot on the neighborhood streets with my friends. Once I mentioned to my dad that my trapeze pants keep getting pinched by the chain and how nice it would be if the bike had a chain guard. When he came home the next day, he brought me some spring clamps for attaching my trouser legs. At that time, I felt it wasn’t exactly what I wanted, but as an adult I have to admit it was a simple but great solution. Value does not always appear in our lives in the form that we expect. An object can have various functions in different situations. This is how this spring clamp now becomes a piece of jewelry.  The same object in a new situation, with another sort of addition, performing a new function.
