(IN)DEPENDENT, (UN)BOUNDED

There is a duality of feelings in our lives as we balance between moments of ease and challenge. These necklaces express this constant movement between limitations and liberation. While looking at the pieces from the front, we can read the words ”DEPENDENT” and ”BOUNDED”. However, when we change our viewpoint to the side, we can discover the words ”INDEPENDENT” and ”UNBOUNDED”. This dual perspective reminds us to maintain hope during our most challenging times.

I created these necklaces for the Tincal Lab Challenge in 2024.
